Er. Golak Behari Das is a Recipient of World  Bank (JJ / WBGSP) Fellowship, has done M.Engg in Sanitary Engg with  specialization in Urban Water Supply from UNESCO IHE, DELFT, The Netherlands  (2000) and he is MIE (India in Civil Engg.). He has also received fellowship from Netherlands  Govt. for presenting paper at the International Seminar on “Climate Change and  coastal low land Development in Sub Tropical Environment” held at Indonesia, 2008 and recipient of ADB fellowship  for the “World Toilet Summit & Expo” Singapore, 2009.  Has more than twelve publications adds to his  credit with six Gold medals. 
                          He is an Environmental / civil  Engineer having more than 26 (twenty Six) years of experience in the field of  Urban Sanitation and Water Supply Sector in Govt of Orissa, India.  He has the experience in scrutiny & preparation of WSS distribution  networks including hydraulics and process design of Water and Sewage Treatment  Plants, Technology evaluation & Selection for water and Sewerage treatment  plants and Planning and monitoring of urban water supply. 
                          During his service career he has  contributed immensely for development of Urban and rural Sanitation and water  supply infrastructure in the state in different capacities starting from  project planning, project design, project execution, construction supervision  and quality monitoring. 
                          He has taken Voluntary Retirement  from Government after twenty six years of service to give more time in  research, analysis and actions in Development Sector.  |
